The Object of Rotary is to “encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise.” Rotary is a service organization. Since 1910, the Rotary Motto has been Service Above Self.
Rotary strives to achieve it’s objective of Service Above Self through activities in four primary areas. These are often referred to as the Four Avenues of Service .
Club Service
Chairperson: Deborah O'Connor - includes the scope of activities that Rotarians undertake in support of their club, such as serving on committees, proposing individuals for membership, and meeting attendance requirements.

Family of Rotary
Chairperson: Beth Brant - This avenue assists to build community within the club and district.

Vocational Service
Chairperson: Larry Herman - focuses on the opportunity that Rotarians have to represent their professions as well as their efforts to promote vocational awareness and high ethical standards in business.

Community Service
Chairperson : Shari Roth - includes the scope of activities, which Rotarians undertake to improve the quality of life in their community.

International Service
Chairperson: Scott Behren - describes the activities, which Rotarians undertake to advance international understanding, goodwill and peace. International Service Projects are designed to meet the humanitarian needs of people in many lands, with particular emphasis on the most underprivileged children and families in developing countries.
